Principal Lembcke

For the past two years, I have served the Lind-Ritzville-Hatton communities as the principal of Lind Elementary and Lind-Ritzville Middle Schools. I am honored and excited to return to the Warden School District as Principal for Warden Middle School, where I previously served as math/stem and science teacher as well as interim Dean of Students. I also taught 4th grade for one year at Warden Elementary School upon my return from an overseas teaching experience in Doha Qatar.

I have called the Columbia Basin home for the past 40 years, periodically venturing out into the world, as many do, before returning home. I graduated from Ephrata High School before serving our great nation in the U.S. Army and enjoyed a successful career with a leading supplier to the worldwide electronics industry, Honeywell Electronics Materials. Unfortunately, to continue with Honeywell would have meant uprooting my family again, which I just couldn’t do. The silver lining was that decision gave me opportunity to follow a dream and continue to serve my country by upholding the backbone of American life in education. I began my career in education in Quincy WA, teaching middle school math, science and coaching Middle School football before accepting an invitation to bring my expertise and experience to Warden.

Returning to Warden Middle School, I’m filled with enthusiasm and hope as I reconnect with familiar faces and collaborate with my peers for the upcoming year. As I plan for the coming year it is my utmost priority to ensure that Warden Middle School is a welcoming and safe place with a strong focus on Academic, Athletic, and extra-curricular achievement, for each and every student. Rest assured, I am committed to working tirelessly to support the district’s mission and vision as provided by our Superintendent, Mr. West, and the Warden School Board. I am looking forward to continuing my collaborative work with the students, families, and staff of the Warden School District Community.
